Just catching up on posting things made a while back. This cool apron was custom made for me by ninjaface. Matching towel comes in way handy for messes like me! I love the straight style of it (as seen in oven photo)...makes me feel like a pro, which is as close as I will ever get to being one! (for example, today I made cookies that smelled like popcorn and tasted like flour!)
This amazing birthday gift flew in all the way from Juneau! A more tactile interpretation of one of my birds, as filtered through Knitting Ninja's head. It has dimension too, which I have tried to capture in my detail pics (which don't do it justice). I can't thank you enough, KniNin! (Below is the bird in it's more boring state).
Acorn overseeing the creation of herself, UK style. The felt cat will eventually sport such accessories as fish n chips meal, a teacup and some bangers n mash...to eventually be shipped (better yet, taken) to my brother in London.
Just wanted to share this in case any San Diegans ever read this. Or in case I get sad and miss my northern crafting friends, this will remind me that-YES! there are crafters here too. I just need to make an effort to meet them.
